My university teaching experience includes serving as both an instructor and teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in Geographic Information Science, quantitative geography, and human geography. I have designed and delivered lectures, developed hands-on GIS assignments, led computer lab sessions, supported students, and assessed coursework.

  • Course description: An upper-year undergraduate course in advanced vector GIS, covering spatial data modelling, geodatabase design, network analysis, location analytics, geocoding, and automated workflows with ModelBuilder.
  • Duties:
    • Design and deliver weekly lectures
    • Develop and coordinate hands-on GIS assignments using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Business Analyst
    • Develop and administer written term tests

  • Teaching Assistant for Dr. Antonio Paez (Winter 2025, Fall 2026) and Bruno Dos Santos (Winter 2026)
  • Course description: This course teaches advanced spatial data analysis and statistics, including descriptive and inferential spatial statistics, primarily for third- and fourth-year undergraduate students. It focuses on geocomputation using R, covering topics such as mapping, point patterns, area data, and spatially continuous data analysis.
  • Duties:
    • Conducted weekly lab sessions for two groups of approximately 24 students each
    • Graded assignments, midterm and final reflections
